Jon Manlove: Senior Pastor

Jon began here as lead pastor the summer of 2005. He was on staff here
at New Life 20 years ago after graduating from Regent College (MDiv.),
and soon thereafter planted two churches under the NLCC banner, one in
PoCo and one in Surrey. He pastored the church in Surrey for 13 years
before going to Mexico with his family in 2002 to serve as a
missionary. Back with us, Jon provides the overall vision and pastoral
leadership as well as equipping staff and elders. Every month Jon
preaches three Sundays out of four. Jon and his wife Barb live in Coquitlam, and
have three children, David, Katie and Courtney.
Esther Hizsa: Pastor of Enfolding Ministries

A graduate of Regent College (M Div), a trained spiritual director (SoulStream) and writer, Esther serves here part time (30%). She comes to us with many years of pastoral experience and has an obvious heart for community building, both within the body of Christ and in our neighbourhood. She is Pastor of Enfolding and “to enfoldrdquo; means “to embrace.rdquo; She seeks to equip and encourage us all to embrace Christ and one another—especially newcomers, artists, and those on the fringes of church and life—and welcome them and their gifts into our lives. Esther is married to a great guy named Fred and they have a son, Rudy, and daughter, Heidi, and two beautiful grandchildren, Hadrian and Hannah.
Tristan Tjosvold: Youth Pastor

Tristan grew up at New Life and enjoyed participating in youth group and camp ministries.
He has recently joined our staff team as the Youth Pastor working 70%.
Tristan was married this summer to Jen and together they run the weekly
youth group meetings on Wednesday and Thursday evenings.
Kathy Krahn: Children's Ministry

Kathy Krahn, our Children’s Pastor, started her official
ministry September 2006. Kathy has attended New Life since 1999
while dating her husband Jay. They have two adorable children, Simone
and Mika. Kathy will be overseeing our children’s
ministry, with her main focus being the Sunday School program.
Terri Bowe: Office Administrator

Terri has been with us since December 1989 as our church
secretary/bookkeeper. A few years ago she was given the title Church
Administrator and was given some added duties in maintaining our
church’s resources and supervising janitorial staff. Her role
has expanded to include Chairing of the Missions & Committee
and overseeing the Worship Ministries on an interim basis.
